Ideas

We had been juggling with ideas for our project. Kelly, our production manager, threw in the idea of powder paint and we all agreed that this was a really creative and interesting idea to play with.

Our initial idea was to have a room covered in white sheets and a lot of powder paint on the floor, and then our dancer would dance in the paint and cover the sheets with powder paint, so he is painting with the rhythm!

We wanted all angles and really bright lighting to enhance the artistic nature of this project.

It's a combination of two arts!

We then immediately addressed the issues we could face such as health and safety of the dancer we are using and the protection of the equipment.
We have decided to provide clothes and shoes for the dancer and literally use bin bags to protect the equipment. There will be other issues to discuss but so far we are really excited with this idea!
